Voting Day Essentials

You get to cast your vote on 4 November 2026. See you there!

You can check your registration status anytime online on the official IEC website or SMS your ID number to 32810 (R1.00/SMS).

The Voter's Roll is now closed, which means you can no longer register or change your details. Click on the button below to check whether you are registered, or where you are registered to vote.

All you need to vote is a valid ID document. This can be your green, bar-coded ID book, smart ID or temporary ID.

NB! You must vote at the voting station where you are registered. You can check where you're registered to vote on the IEC's website.

Special Votes

Yes, you absolutely can! You can apply for a special vote, which allows you to vote at your voting station on 2 or 3 November 2026. Applications for special votes open on 21 September and close on 12 October 2026.
